Supporting Your Healing and Growth
I offer therapy for adults and have professional experience with a variety of populations. Many of my clients are individuals who are experiencing big transitions, people desire to explore what is meaningful in their life, or people who are generally interested in personal healing and growth. I bring my heart to our sessions and you can expect an approach that demonstrates dignity, compassion, and genuine care. I approach therapy with respect for the unique experiences of each person. My intention is to help create awareness of yourself and your capabilities, allowing for greater personal freedom. While I rely heavily on training and professional experience, I also believe that each person is the greatest expert about themselves.
I received my M.A. in clinical psychology at Seattle University and my B.A. in psychology from Lewis and Clark College. I am engaged in ongoing training with Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles both domestically and abroad. I regularly provide supervision, in a training setting, as well as receive intensive training. I have also trained in Focusing Oriented Therapy, which can provide a more wholistic integration of body awareness.
I have a clinical sub-specialty in psychedelic-assisted therapy. I draw upon my extensive work with indigenous plant medicines as well and western psychedelic assisted therapy to inform my work with healing and trauma. As an extension of this, I plan to offer comprehensive Ketamine-assisted therapy in the next year.
In my work, I draw upon several therapeutic modalities including: Existential, Cognitive Behavioral, and Gestalt. I believe a variety of theoretical understandings, built upon strong theoretical foundations and professional experience, allows for excellent therapy. This allows me to tailor my approach to is most effective for you.
